  • Muscle Building Myth : The “short workouts” myth


    I have included this topic written by a fitness professional who has been involved in the fitness industry for over 30 years because i personally believe it holds true. I personally train between 1 hour and 3 hours per session and make far superior muscle gains this way as opposed to the 45 minute version being promoted as "the best muscle building method". I have had no success at all with the 45 minute version and find the same with many people i know. As i tell all the people i train or lend advice to "training is all about what works for YOU". Just because these so called "gurus" tell you its better to train shorter it doesnt make it true. Most of the programs released that become the "new best thing" are put out there by fitness an supplement companies that have designed these programs in order for you to fall for their claims and spend money on trainers and products offered by them to support their claims. Make up your own mind after reading this article. Personally i like to follow the examples of what has worked for the last 100 years or so and not the last 1 - 3 years. If working out longer gives you better results and you have the time to do it then whos to say its wrong?
